Our doctors recommend retinal photography (photos of the back of your eye) to help detect and monitor sight-threatening conditions such as glaucoma, diabetes, macular degeneration, high blood pressure and high cholesterol.

Children’s Eye Care
Your child’s vision is essential to their development. School screenings can miss underlying issues of visual problems. It is estimated that over 80% of learning comes from vision. Therefore, annual preventative eye care for your entire family is highly recommended.
The American Optometric Association recommends three eye exams before kindergarten. The first exam at 6-12 months old, the second at 2-3 years old, and the third before enrolling for kindergarten. These exams all check to make sure your child’s eyes are developing properly.
Our practice is unique in that we are an InfantSEE provider. This means we provide the first eye exam at 6-12 months old completely free of charge. We do this to lessen any burden that might be associated with ensuring your family’s health and well-being.
